For those of us who want to avoid THC for work or personal reasons, there are many ways to access CBD that are THC-free. The two major types of THC-free products are known as isolate and broad spectrum.
The term “isolate” refers to a concentrate that contains only CBD. Many products made with CBD isolate contain only CBD, without any secondary cannabinoids or terpenes. That said, our CBD isolate tincture is enhanced with natural hemp-derived terpenes to help you enjoy maximum benefit from them. Terpenes are aroma and flavor compounds found in hemp (and many other) plants, and they offer health and wellness benefits all their own. You’ll find CBD isolate and organic, hemp-derived terpenes in our THC-Free Water Soluble CBD.
Unlike CBD isolate, broad-spectrum products typically contain a broader range of compounds, including minor cannabinoids like CBG which you can also enjoy in convenient cbg edibles.
Broad-spectrum hemp extracts contain CBD and other active compounds found in the plant, but these extracts have been refined to remove THC. Products made with broad-spectrum extracts typically contain any terpenes or flavonoids present in the hemp plant, and may include other minor cannabinoids such as CBG or CBN. You’ll find broad-spectrum hemp extract in our Organic THC-Free Broad-Spectrum CBD.
